Subdomains

Every project gets a free subdomain on weldship.dev. No configuration needed - just choose a name and deploy.

Subdomain Format

Your subdomain follows this pattern:

yourapp.weldship.dev

Choosing a Name

  • Use letters, numbers, and hyphens
  • Must start with a letter
  • 3-63 characters long
  • Must be unique (not already taken)

Name Availability

Check availability when creating your project. Popular names may already be taken.

Changing Your Subdomain

  1. Go to project settings → Domains
  2. Click "Edit" next to your subdomain
  3. Enter the new name
  4. Click Save

URL Changes

Changing your subdomain changes your URL. Old links will stop working.
