Shared with Me
The Shared section shows all projects that other users have shared with you. Collaborate on projects, review work, and contribute to team efforts.
Receiving Shared Projects
When someone shares a project with you, it automatically appears in your Shared section. You'll also receive a notification about the new share.
Permission Levels
Shared projects come with different permission levels:
- View - You can view the project and its code, but cannot make changes
- Edit - You can view and modify the project, but cannot change settings
- Admin - Full access including settings, deployment, and sharing
Permission Indicator
Each shared project shows a badge indicating your permission level. Hover over the badge for more details.
Working with Shared Projects
Depending on your permissions, you can:
With View Access
- Browse all project files
- View the live preview
- Copy code snippets
- Star the project
With Edit Access
- Everything in View, plus:
- Make changes using AI chat
- Modify files directly
- Test changes in preview
With Admin Access
- Everything in Edit, plus:
- Deploy changes to production
- Modify project settings
- Share with additional users
- Manage domains
Leaving a Shared Project
If you no longer need access to a shared project, you can remove it from your list:
- Open the project menu
- Select "Leave project"
- Confirm your choice
Leaving is Reversible
If you leave a shared project, the owner can always re-share it with you. You won't lose any work you've done.
Collaboration Tips
- Communicate - Use project comments or external tools to coordinate
- Check permissions - Know your access level before making changes
- Test changes - Use preview mode to verify before deploying
- Respect ownership - Follow the owner's guidelines for the project
